Documentary
In this documentary, we follow Manon Sarah Thirriot in the field of wood marquetry in Lille.

Still Life Animation Pencil
This project is an animated still life featuring a pencil that comes to life within a minimal environment. The scene was modeled and rendered in Autodesk Maya, focusing on lighting, materials, and composition to create a realistic still life setup.
The animation, compositing, and sound design were completed in Adobe After Effects. Motion and audio were used to give personality to the pencil and enhance the overall atmosphere of the scene.
For the final version of this project, I plan to further refine the animation timing, the sounds design to create a more immersive, funny, and engaging experience.
Abandoned Street
In this project, my goal was to create a post-apocalyptic and horror atmosphere using Maya. I selected and integrated various 3D assets while ensuring visual consistency across the entire scene.
I focused on composition and camera placement to highlight an abandoned street and strengthen the visual storytelling. The lighting was achieved using multiple Area Lights placed on the “MOTEL” sign, under the street lamp, and in the background to enhance depth and guide the viewer’s eye.
To reinforce the atmosphere, I animated the street lamp to create an unstable and unsettling flickering effect. Rain and particle effects were also added to increase immersion. An HDRI was used for the sky to establish the overall mood of the scene.
I added atmospheric smoke during compositing in After Effects, applied across the entire scene, with extra emphasis under the street lamp to reinforce depth and atmosphere.
The final render was produced using Arnold and refined in After Effects with sound design, glow effects on light sources, cinematic color grading, film grain, and additional glow to enhance the overall mood and visual impact.
